Tasked with transforming a 5,000 square foot office and 850 square foot terrace in a commercial building the team worked as the interior architect, designer, and project manager. Coordination is profoundly important when working in a commercial building as there are many different restrictions and regulations in terms of construction, which requires extreme organization.
Being a private firm, the space had to feel professional, yet comfortable with a consistent elegance carried throughout. Floor to ceiling windows and integrated lighting captured the bright effortless feeling, which was combined with softwood and colours. Glass doors with simple hardware created an open concept setting a tone of inclusiveness. The Taylor Hannah team built this project from the stud giving them the complete freedom to make the client’s vision possible.
