Singapore is a city that is of today and of tomorrow. The architecture is dense and respectful while delighting with new buildings throughout this city of finance and culture. From Independence in 1965 it has held its head high as a multicultural city soaring to become the finance center of our new world. City planners have taken the time to entertain us and give us comfort in the heat of the day. Mountains under glass and colonial museums with modern connections exhibit international treasures. This city glows at night building after building.
Not to be forgotten is the food and the street hawker centres that celebrate their cuisine, one being chicken and rice as a famous dish with line ups out the building. It is truly the best Michelin Star food in the city.
